Additional road signs (G)

Additional signs highlight tourist attractions, industrial zones and special destinations. They appear frequently on expressways and regional roads, so it is worth knowing their colours and icons before the exam.

G-1a	Indicator post with three stripes placed on the right side of the carriageway	Informs about approaching a level crossing. It is placed under the sign A-9 or A-10.
G-1b	Indicator post with two stripes placed on the right side of the carriageway	Informs about approaching a level crossing. It is placed at 2/3 of the distance between the warning sign A-9 or A-10 and the crossing.
G-1c	Indicator post with one stripe placed on the right side of the carriageway	Informs about approaching a level crossing. It is placed at 1/3 of the distance between the warning sign A-9 or A-10 and the crossing.
G-1d	Indicator post with three stripes placed on the left side of the carriageway	Informs about approaching a level crossing. Informs about approaching a level crossing. It is placed under the sign A-9 or A-10.
G-1e	Indicator post with two stripes placed on the left side of the carriageway	Informs about approaching a level crossing. It is placed at 2/3 of the distance between the warning sign A-9 or A-10 and the crossing.

G-2	Electrified overhead line	Indicates that an overhead traction line under voltage is suspended above the level crossing.
G-3	Saint Andrew’s cross before a single-track level crossing	Designates the stopping place in connection with the movement of a train or other rail vehicle at a level crossing without gates or half-gates These signs inform that there is one track at the crossing.
G-4	Saint Andrew’s cross before a multi-track level crossing	Designates the stopping place in connection with the movement of a train or other rail vehicle at a level crossing without gates or half-gates These signs inform that there is more than one track at the crossing.
