Informational road signs (D)
Informational signs (series D) describe the character of the road, nearby services or special regulations in force. Use this set to quickly recognise motorway entries, built-up zones, parking areas and many other hints that improve your situational awareness.

Priority road | It marks the beginning or continuation of a road with priority. The T-6a or T-6b plate placed underneath indicates respectively the actual course of the priority road through the intersection or the layout of subordinate roads. |

End of priority road | It means the end of the priority road. |

|
One-way street | It marks the beginning or continuation of a road or roadway on which traffic flows in one direction. A sign plate placed below the sign with the text "Does not apply" along with a vehicle symbol or an expression defining the vehicle indicates that traffic of vehicles specified on the sign plate flows in two directions. The above sign with a sign plate placed below it with the text "Does not apply" and a bicycle symbol or a bicycle cart symbol placed on a road with a permitted speed of no more than 30 km/h means that traffic of these vehicles may take place without designated traffic lanes. |

Dead end | It indicates the beginning of a dead-end road. A sign placed under the sign with the inscription "Does not apply" and a bicycle or cycle trailer symbol means that the sign does not apply to bicycles or cycle trailers. |

Entrance to a road with no exit | It means that the road behind the intersection on the side indicated on the sign is a road with no through traffic. A plate placed under the sign with the text "Does not apply" and a symbol of a bicycle or bicycle trailer means that the sign does not apply to a bicycle or bicycle trailer. |

Priority on a narrowed section of the roadway | It means that drivers pass through or cross before drivers approaching from the opposite direction. |

Pedestrian crossing | It marks a place designated for pedestrians to cross the road. A vehicle driver approaching a place marked with the sign is obliged to reduce speed so as not to endanger pedestrians or cyclists located in these places or entering or riding into them. The sign plate T-27 placed below the sign indicates that the pedestrian crossing is particularly frequented by children. |

Bike lane | It marks a place designated for cyclists to cross the road. A vehicle driver approaching a place marked with the sign is obliged to reduce speed so as not to endanger pedestrians or cyclists located in these places or entering or riding into them. |

Pedestrian crossing and cyclist crossing | It indicates a pedestrian crossing and a bicycle crossing located next to each other. A vehicle driver approaching a location marked with the sign is obliged to reduce speed so as not to endanger pedestrians or cyclists present in these places or entering or riding into them. The plaque T-27 placed under the sign indicates that the pedestrian crossing is particularly frequented by children. |

Expressway | It indicates the beginning or continuation of an expressway. A sign **T-28** placed below the sign indicates that a toll is charged for traveling on the expressway or motorway. A sign **T-1a** placed below the sign indicates the distance to the beginning or end of the road or lane. |

End of expressway | It marks the end of the expressway. The plate **T-1a** placed under the sign indicates the distance to the beginning or end of the road or lane. |

Highway | It indicates the beginning or continuation of a motorway. A **T-28** plate placed under the sign indicates that a toll is charged for traveling on the expressway or motorway. A **T-1a** plate placed under the sign indicates the distance to the beginning or end of the road or lane. |

End of the highway | It marks the end of the motorway. A sign plate T-1a placed below indicates the distance to the beginning or end of a road or traffic lane. |

Start of the bus lane | Beginning of a traffic lane designated only for buses or trolleybuses and other vehicles providing paid passenger transport on regular routes. Text or a vehicle symbol placed on the sign indicates that movement of the vehicle specified by this text or symbol is permitted on the traffic lane marked with this sign. |

Bus lane | Continuation of a traffic lane intended only for buses or trolleybuses and other vehicles providing paid passenger transport on regular routes. Beginning of slow traffic lane | It marks the beginning of a traffic lane which drivers of vehicles unable to reach the minimum speed on an incline specified on the sign in kilometers per hour are obligated to use. A sign plate placed below the sign T-1a indicates the distance to the beginning or end of a road or traffic lane. |

Beginning of a traffic lane | It indicates the beginning of a traffic lane on the side indicated by the sign. The plate **T-1a** placed under the sign indicates the distance to the beginning or end of the road or lane. |

End of lane | It marks the end of the extreme lane located on the indicated side. A sign placed at the slow lane means the end of that lane. A plate placed under the sign T-1a indicates the distance to the beginning or end of a road or lane. |

Bus stop | It indicates the stopping place for vehicles shown on the sign that perform paid passenger transport on regular lines. The sign also indicates the stopping place for motor vehicles other than buses that perform paid passenger transport on regular lines and vehicles designated for transporting children to schools and kindergartens. |

Trolleybus stop | Indicates a stopping place for vehicles specified on the sign that provide paid passenger transport on regular routes. |

Tram stop | Indicates a stopping place for vehicles specified on the sign that provide paid passenger transport on regular routes. |

Parking | It designates a place intended for parking vehicles (groups of vehicles), with the exception of camping trailers. A plate T-23e placed under the sign indicates that parking of camping trailers is also permitted at the parking lot. A vehicle symbol placed on the sign indicates that the parking is intended for parking a vehicle whose symbol is found on the sign. A plate T-30 placed under the sign indicates the method of positioning the vehicle in relation to the edge of the carriageway marked on the plate in gray color and that the place is intended for motor vehicles with a permissible total weight not exceeding 2.5 tons. A plate T-3a placed under the sign indicates the end of the place intended for parking. A plate T-29 placed under the sign informs about a place intended for a motor vehicle of a person with disabilities. |

Parking - reserved space | Indicates a place designated for parking a vehicle of an authorized person. A sign T-29 placed below indicates a place designated for a motor vehicle of a person. |

Tunnel | Indicates entry into a tunnel. A supplementary plate T-1b placed under the D-37 sign indicates the actual length of the tunnel β in the case where the length of the tunnel exceeds 500 m. The actual length of the tunnel may also be indicated by placing, in the lower part of the sign, an inscription and symbols corresponding to the content of the supplementary plate T-1b. In the case of tunnels longer than 3000 m, the remaining length of the tunnel to be covered is indicated every 1000 m with the supplementary plate T-1b. A supplementary plate T-32 placed under the sign indicates the minimum distance from the preceding vehicle. |

Permissible speeds | Informs about the permissible speeds in force on the territory of the Republic of Poland. At a border crossing, boards with inscriptions or symbols may be placed, providing information about the road traffic regulations in force on the territory of the Republic of Poland. |

Residential zone | Indicates entry into a residential zone. The sign also informs that traffic calming devices and solutions placed in the residential zone that enforce slow driving may not be marked with warning signs. |
